The ideal candidate will have previous fashion public relations experience, knowledge of the fashion industry and be a self motivator. We are looking for someone who wants to build their business and work in a flexible atmosphere.


If you are a true go-getter, this is the perfect position for you! This is a commission based position targeted towards a self motivated person who wants to grow with a already booming agency. There is no base pay so if that is what you are looking for, do not apply. We will train you for three months. After that time, we will discuss if this is the right opportunity for you and for us. The pay is what you make it so you could make $0 per month or you could make $10k a month. There is no base pay. We provide all the tools you need to be successful. Your success is our success. We have partnered with an agency in LA and London which more than doubles our reach and connections. The opportunities are limitless and we would like to add the perfect person to the already winning equation.


MUST HAVE QUALITIES: outgoing, confident, self-motivated, leadership, creativity in writing and effective communication skills. Knowledge of journalistic basics: including proper news release formats, excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills; good interpersonal skills; good time management and multi-tasking skills; ability to maintain an even temperament under stress.


Must be able to commit no less than 30 hours per week. There is no base pay. THIS IS COMMISSION BASED so if you're not motivated, please do not apply. If you prove yourself, we will hire you.




Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Director of Communications, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Pitch to potential clients.
  • Create a tailored PR plan for each client.
  • Must find creative ways to keep the client’s brand name in the public eye.
  • Draft Press Releases.
  • Must maintain strong professional relationships with media personnel.
  • Ensure your monthly deadlines are met.
  • Ensure your client's needs are being met.
  • New York Fashion Week PR
  • Launch innovative campaigns
  • Regularly interact with the media.


Fashion PR jobs require creating and maintaining rapport with media personnel including stylists, market editors at magazines, newspaper editors, and website moderators on a global level.

  • BA in Public Relations or Communications
  • Available 30 hours per week
  • Enthusiastic and highly motivated
  • 2 years of PR experience preferred
  • Coursework in PR, Media and Communications is very helpful
