The kind of work you'll be doing...

  • Designing and crafting compelling proposals to impress us as well as our clients
  • Writing (a lot) and producing work quickly
  • Coordinating and collaborating with multiple teams within the company to get the info needed to respond to complex requirements in crafting proposals
  • Reviewing available tendering and funding opportunities to identify strong leads
  • Consulting with business development staff and third-party resources to find the latest, most applicable opportunities
  • Editing, proofreading, and coordinating content from other members of the team
  • Improving our internal proposal process and tools

Ideal Qualifications

  • A 4 year Honours Degree in a field with a strong writing component (such as English, Business, History, etc.), Masters Degree seen as an asset
  • Very strong writing skills in terms of both quality and speed
  • Experience working on a detail oriented job or project. You are often described as detail oriented and you don’t get flustered working under tight deadlines
  • Must be comfortable working on new, uncertain, and abstract projects where the requirements are sometimes unclear
  • Experience writing proposals: RFP’s, RFQ’s and/or RFI’s
  • Benefit to have some graphic design ability (formatting documents, creating images, etc.) with the goal to create professional and attractive documents/presentations
  • Enjoy working with a collaborative team
  • Knowledge of healthcare systems and/or medical terminology is a plus.
