GirlCrew is an online social network for women. We’re built on the three pillars of social, professional, and empowerment. Our aim is to be the largest female network in the world, with no woman left behind. For us the online space is a vital tool for knowledge sharing, but the real magic happens offline. Through our events members can forge real friendships and connections. Helping them to make new friends, develop their professional network, and be part of a thriving community.

How it all began...

Born one Friday night, Elva Carri “hacked” Tinder so she would appear to local women. Explaining that she simply wanted to find people to go out clubbing with Elva had over 100 matches overnight. From there the group moved to Facebook, and the origins of GirlCrew began to appear. Noticing that the experience could be streamlined, Áine Mulloy joined Elva, with Pamela Newenham coming on-board soon after to the complete the founding team.

After a Tinder prank resulted in the group hitting Reddit, the growth of the groups increased rapidly. Now in over 40 cities worldwide, GirlCrew is going from strength to strength. Our company has expanded to include full-time and part-time team members. With the app launching in summer 2017.
