Fallon & Byrne is a business for food lovers by food lovers. When we put pen to paper in 2005 to write the business plan, we stated simply that our mission was “to open a great food shop and restaurant”. No more and no less. We wanted to sell and serve great-tasting food made by people who cared, in an atmosphere free from the snobbery or pretentiousness that so often attaches to quality food.
Our Exchequer Street operation is housed in a heritage building and comprises an award-winning food hall, restaurant, wine cellar and function room. You can pop in for an espresso, grab a rib roast for Sunday lunch, have a romantic glass of champagne for two or even stay and get married!
In 2014 we opened a restaurant, café & deli in the renovated Victorian tea rooms in the People's Park. In early 2017 the business will be expanding further with a new large retail space opening in Rathmines.
We live by our brand values of integrity, ambition, respect, positivity, pride and passion. At the heart of the business lies an unflinching passion for great food, and a genuine commitment to putting the very best on the shelves of our food hall and the plates of our restaurants.
We aspire to be courteous and thoughtful at all times, with a sprinkling of humour. We want Fallon & Byrne to be a place that our staff love to be, as much as our customers.
Everyone who works in Fallon & Byrne has been hand-picked for their friendly, open disposition and positive outlook. We are a team of (almost fanatical) food lovers who have worked hard to create a special environment for our customers.
Our mission is simple: “To be the country’s favourite food destination, sharing our love of all things delicious in a magical setting with five-star service”. We are always on the lookout for talented individuals to join us on that mission.
You will join a team of like-minded food & wine lovers who are a friendly bunch! There is a staff discount as well as a social fund. Regular team nights out and prize draws are arranged. You will have the opportunity to improve your food and wine knowledge with training sessions, and producer visits both at home and abroad.
