Junior Financial Analyst at Ryanair in Swords, Ireland

Ryanair is seeking to recruit a Junior Financial Analyst to join its Finance Department.

This role represents a great development opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual who wants to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be based in our new Head Office in Airside Business Park in Swords.

Duties include:

  • Assist with the administration of the Group’s aviation and general insurance policies including liaising with the Group’s insurance brokers and external advisers in relation to policy renewals and claims management
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports
  • Preparation of management accounts and performance review reporting including variance analysis reporting
  • Provide support and assistance to the Group’s Tax team
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting incorporating the Group’s rolling forecast and medium term planning models
  • Ad hoc duties


  • A business studies or law graduate with an interest in progressing towards an accountancy qualification or a part/recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent), with a minimum of 1 years relevant experience.
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills are essential. The candidate should be able to demonstrate a high degree of initiative, and possess strong interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Access/database management skills are essential.
