Purpose of the Role

To deliver to all our customers, a warm, genuine, fun and memorable experience which goes that extra mile. To prepare, present and serve the tastiest chicken in a relaxing environment where our customers feel at home and part of the Nando’s family

Key Responsibilities:

  • To prepare, cook and present all food items correctly and efficiently to the standards outlined in the Nando’s training toolkit
  • To set up and close down the restaurant to the standards agreed by the management team
  • To be aware of and to react to, every customer’s specific needs (i.e. telephone, acknowledge customers), ensuring all our customers have a great Nando’s experience. To treat all as you would want to be treated
  • To ensure all food products are stored, temperature recorded and rotated as per Nando’s standard
  • To make sure that the grill area and back kitchen is kept clean at all times (crockery, work surfaces and floors) whilst carrying out all daily and weekly cleaning schedules
  • To work as a team, supporting each other and welcoming new members to the family
  • To comply with all reasonable requests from a member of the Management Team

Health & Safety responsibility for:

  • Your own health and safety and that of others
  • Reporting any accidents to the manager on duty
  • Follow the training you have been given
  • Advising the manager on duty of any faulty equipment or matters that could affect the Health and Safety of others
  • To demonstrate and encourage behaviours that foster the Nando’s values of Pride, Passion, Courage, Integrity & Family
