Maintenance Programme & Reliability Supervisor at Ryanair in Swords, Ireland

Ryanair is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Programme & Reliability Supervisor / Manager. Based in our Dublin Officer, the successful candidate will report to the Deputy Director of Technical Services and will be responsible for all elements of the Reliability Section in Ryanair’s Technical Services department and for the development and optimisation of the Maintenance Programme for Ryanair’s fleet of Boeing 737NG aircraft.

The Role

  • Review and analysis of maintenance data relating to components and systems, and the identification and resolution of reliability alerts.
  • Review of Boeing and OEM Service Bulletins relating to reliability improvements and making recommendations on benefits of their implementation in the fleet.
  • Provision of reports and analysis of aircraft dispatch reliability and identification of solutions for repetitive delay causes.
  • Review of Heavy Maintenance findings and the identification of solutions for repeat occurrences.
  • Review of the Boeing Maintenance Planning Document releases and ensuring their accurate implementation in the Ryanair Maintenance Programme.
  • Submission and obtaining of Aviation Authority approval of the Ryanair Maintenance Programme when required.
  • Development of detailed reports to support the optimisation of the Ryanair Maintenance Programme.
  • Providing input to the Boeing 737NG Industry Steering Committee regarding on-going optimisation of the Boeing MRB/MPD
  • Creating and achieving approval for a 737 MAX Maintenance Programme.

Requirements

This is a senior Technical Services position and will suit an exceptional candidate with the following key skills and experience;

  • Experience working in an airline and/or MRO;
  • Technical knowledge of Boeing 737NG systems;
  • A fundamental understanding of aircraft maintenance programmes;
  • Flexible approach with project delivery being a high priority.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both in-person and by electronic means.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and to act as a team leader to the Reliability Team.
  • Strong attention to detail in multi-tasking situations and the ability to deliver results to tight timelines.
