About Us

Matt the Thresher was set up in the 1980's by the late Tony Ryan, founder of GPA and Ryanair, with the aim promoting the best of Irish food and drink.

Our focus is continually on maintaining the highest standards and we all take great pride in the food we purchase, prepare and serve.

Located in the centre of Dublin's business district we have a very busy lunch and evening trade and our customers include business leaders, international and local politicians, chefs such as Anthony Bourdain, Michel Roux jr, Marco Pierre White, but to name a few, along with large local following and many tourists.
