Uber is evolving the way the world moves. By seamlessly connecting riders to drivers through our apps, we make cities more accessible, opening up more possibilities for riders and more business for drivers. From our founding in 2009 to our launches in hundreds of cities today, Uber's rapidly expanding global presence continues to bring people and their cities closer.
Uber's Core Infrastructure team is seeking experienced software engineers to help build the future of urban transportation. Sounds interesting? Read on.
Our job is to keep the engine running. We've built the foundation of a highly cohesive, loosely coupled service-oriented architecture that's going to propel us into the next 10x-100x growth levels. The Core Infrastructure team is building systems for consumption by all the other engineering teams at Uber. We're setting best practices and helping other teams architect better solutions, and we're not afraid to get our hands dirty. We might write a data store from scratch, tack a new logical solution on top of an existing one, split up a monolithic codebase or just optimize some SQL queries - we're going to go in where we're needed most and ensure that Uber is reliable, durable and scalable.
