Who are we?

We are the directors behind the scenes while our hosts retain their starring role, getting to experience the wonder of sharing their home without the hassle of folding towels and handing out keys. We’re well on our way to world domination (or at least becoming the preferred hospitality management service for homestays worldwide). And we’re looking for a seasoned customer account manager to look after our host accounts. Allow us to explain more...


What Can You Expect?

  • To be trusted implicitly with hosts’ most-prized possession: their home
  • To put your slick social skills to use daily, liaising between multiple teams across the business and, of course, with our hosts
  • To be the proxy host of many homes, stepping into the hosts’ loafers and taking responsibility for maintaining the Airbnb listing, keeping guests satisfied and ensuring the home is always in tip-top condition
  • To put on your ‘sales’ hat from time to time and help us get new hosts signed up and up and running
  • To help us build and grow a close-knit, hardworking team
  • To work full-time, and over occasionally some weekends and bank holidays. Alas, it can’t all be fun and games (but we do have plenty of those, too!)
  • To expect the unexpected – quieter days will see you getting out and about in London, conducting check-ins, etc. No two days are the same, and we wouldn’t trade it for all the tea in China

Who Are You?

  • You are a travel enthusiast, obviously, but you also eat and drink where the locals do
  • You truly get Airbnb (for hosts and for guests), and you’ll get extra points if you’ve previously worked in the hospitality industry
  • You bring 4+ years of experience in managing client and customer relationships to the table
  • You really, really love staying organised. Google calendars are your thing and your email inbox is flagged, starred and filed to perfection
  • You don’t overlook the little details. Prove that to us by mentioning your favourite travel destination in your application to us. We're serious - it shows us you're really engaged and not applying to everything in sight :)
  • You bring big ideas about how Hostmaker can continuously improve our host experience, unafraid to explore new ways of doing things if it means happier hosts
