We’re Hostmaker – nice to meet you. We’re looking for someone to help us manage the day to day front line operations. You will be communicating with our housekeeping and driver team to ensure everything runs smoothly and we leave all our homes sparkling and Guest Ready.

Our attentive, guest-ready services create unforgettable experiences for those welcomed into the homes of our hosts. And guest-ready means exactly what it says on the tin: the little touches that do big things, from linen rentals and housekeeping to meeting the excited explorers when they arrive.

We’re the directors behind the scenes while our hosts retain their starring role, getting to experience the wonder of sharing their home without the hassle of folding towels and handing out keys. We’re well on our way to world domination. Well, becoming the preferred hospitality management service for homestays worldwide. And we’re looking for someone to keep the Hostmaker machinery well oiled and ticking like a fine clock, getting closer to the dream one day at a time.

  • A travel enthusiast, obviously. But you eat and drink where the locals do, and you definitely wouldn’t bookmark Time Out’s city guides
  • A young gun with ambition and drive to rival our own
  • But wait! It’s also really important that your big, bold ideas don’t overlook the little details – our hosts trust us to get it right, and we take pride in doing so every time through our impeccable attention and accuracy
  • We’re young, and we’re figuring it out as we go. This is not an Ikea shelf – there is no manual. Though it’s often as complex and always as rewarding
  • Inspiring. You are not an Ikea shelf
  • You truly get Airbnb (for hosts and for guests), and you’ll get extra points if you’ve previously worked in the hospitality industry
  • You’re used to communicating across teams in order to get the job done, and have amazing communication skills
  • But you’re equally as comfortable working alone
  • You’re a multitasker. Right now you’re probably reading this, checking emails and planning dinner

  • Responsibility. A lot of it. Everyday there are a 100+ service deliveries (and growing fast) that have the potential to go wrong - housekeeping services, linen deliveries, key exchanges or welcoming guests home. But they go right (well, not every time) because operations delivery is at the heart of our business and we care deeply. Our hosts trust us to deliver.
  • Helping the frontline team in the day to day and be their eyes in the office.
  • Tracking our daily performance.
  • Liaising between the different teams to find quick solutions.
  • Report into the Operations Manager.
  • A committed team that problem solves together and takes on the challenges that growth brings with a smile (and the occasional outburst! We are not going to lie. We are on a rollercoaster and the emotions ebb and flow. We give you the space to ride the wave)
