The role

UNILAD are recruiting for an Account Manager to join their growing sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work for one of the fastest growing media companies in the world.

The role will involve selling creative content to buyers, planners and any one with digital involvement within a specialist agency patch (e.g. Omnicom, Group M, Dentsu Aegis, Independent Agencies, PR, creative agencies etc).

UNILAD are looking for someone with previous experience of selling creative content, preferably for a publisher, who is a self-starter and hungry to succeed in a media sales role.

What you will be doing:

  • Grow sales revenues by selling creative content to clients to agencies
  • Respond to all incoming sales enquiries
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities for UNILAD
  • Build long-lasting relationships with key media agencies and clients
  • Create proposals and sales presentations in response to client briefs
  • Attend a minimum number of client and agency meetings each week
  • Contribute ideas on brief responses, in brainstorms and on live campaigns
  • Liaise with the Project Manager, Editorial and Video teams to ensure all campaigns are delivered successfully
  • Act as sales support for the sales team

What we need for this role:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years selling creative content or a similar concept to media agencies
  • An excellent understanding of digital advertising including desktop, mobile and video
  • A black book of media agency digital contacts
  • An excellent understanding of social media - in particular Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
  • Enjoys the challenges that come with a sales role at UNILAD
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills coupled with excellent presentation skills – MS Powerpoint and/or Keynote is a must have Confident and outgoing
  • Customer focused and able to think creatively and proactively
  • Friendly, honest and hard-working
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
