L&D Business Partner, 6 month FTC at Secret Escapes in London, United Kingdom

The HR team at Secret Escapes was formed just over two years ago when the business was 200 employees. Secret Escapes is now 540 strong and focus and investment is needed on the learning and development agenda.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join the team for six months to kick start the L&D journey.

Questions you will help answer

  • What do great development plans and conversations look like at Secret Escapes?
  • What are the key learning needs across Secret Escapes and how can we address them?
  • How do we drive manager capability across Secret Escapes?

Things you’ll be working on

  • Defining the approach and tools needed for development plans and conversations at Secret Escapes
  • Conducting training needs analysis across the business to identify the key learning needs
  • Present recommendations for how the key learning and development gaps across Secret Escapes can be closed focusing on the 70:20:10 learning philosophy, and what this training looks like in practice (i.e. which parts could be carried out in-house v. with external providers)
  • Present recommendations for how learning and development across Secret Escapes can be evaluated using the Kirkpatrick Model
  • Present to the Group HR Director on LMS options, costings and potential requirements
  • Develop content for the Secret Escapes Manager Toolkit. The Toolkit is currently under development and is an online hub for Managers to enable them to be inspirational and effective people managers
  • Responsible for knowledge sharing within the team

  • Ability to produce creative, business sound solutions
  • Experience of multiple Learning Management Systems
  • Proven track record to deliver projects on time and on budget
  • Innovative content and delivery ideas
