Senior FP&A Analyst at Secret Escapes in London, United Kingdom

As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will join a team of five that use analytical expertise to provide insight and influence the future direction of the business.

Things you’ll be working on

  • Increase robustness of the quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting process
  • Business partner a subset of Country Managers
  • Long term strategic planning, including developing analysis around cost drivers/ KPIs to forecast future cost growth
  • Work with core finance to align with new financial systems/ management accounts for reporting purposes
  • Develop operating expense tracking and reporting
  • Ad hoc analysis to support M&A activity and other initiatives

We are a small team of five that work closely with the Secret Escapes’ Exec Management team. We pride ourselves on being all over the numbers, using our analytical expertise to provide insight and influence the future direction of the business.

The deal breakers

  • Strong academics (2.1+ degree, excellent Maths track record at school)
  • Big 4 ACA Qualified Accountant with at least 2 years PQE
  • Experience of financial planning/forecasting cycles in a B2C online business or Retail environment
  • Passion for online business coupled with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Advanced Excel (needs to be demonstrated). Experience of working with large data sets and creation of financial models/reports from scratch
  • Attention to detail, taking ownership for accuracy of output
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise work effectively
  • Self-starter who will be keen to initiate new ideas and processes
  • Fluent in English
  • Cleared to work in the UK/EU
