How do we attract the best Tech and other business area talent to Secret Escapes?
How do we drive direct recruitment?
How do we ensure we are delivering the best candidate service?


Things you’ll be working on

  • Building talent pipelines for Secret Escapes to maintain the direct sourcing strategy and understand our competitors in the UK, EMEA, APAC and USA
  • A key focus of this role will be Tech Sourcing, get ready to start letting candidates know our tech stack is Groovy (not in the Phil Collins way but a language called Groovy)
  • Working closely with the Talent Partners to understand the needs of the role and identify potential candidate leads for a variety of business areas.
  • Assessing candidates via detailed phone screens on behalf of the Secret Escapes hiring community
  • Ensuring that the candidate service is the best it can be including scheduling interviews and preparing candidates for interviews – candidate journey is key!
  • Contributing to ad hoc talent projects to support the Talent Partners and Head of Talent
  • Continually expand network through leveraging user groups, blogs , networking events and careers fairs

People that help create the magic

Soon to be a team of 14 HR peeps spread across Berlin, Warsaw, New York and London. We work hard, get our stakeholders and have the full support of our two Co-Founders (one Co-Founder is very easy to spot in the office, he wears animal themed jumpers on a Friday).

The deal breakers. We are looking for.

  • Extensive sourcing experience
  • Either in house or agency background
  • Proven track record of sourcing candidates for all roles regardless of level
  • Direct sourcing background with a good knowledge of direct sourcing tools such as LinkedIn, Hired and Stack overflow
  • The ability to think outside the box to attract talent into niche roles
  • Knowledge of the tech industry and the roles within a tech team would be beneficial

Things you should know

Serious conversations will be held while sitting on the space hoppers (called Monty and Dom) by our desks. Your core stability will increase considerably.

We have a mild addition to Lola Cup Cakes, chocolate, bread and Carr’s cheese melts. The lures of leather lane and their delicious Curly Wurly brownies are sometimes too hard to resist.
