The role

Responsible for UNILAD Gaming, the perfect candidate will have a demonstrable passion for all things Gaming and social media related.

You will create engaging content and work to tight deadlines to ensure the continuous growth of UNILAD Gaming.

Based in our Manchester office we offer a competitive salary and monthly social events, and we spend way too much time watching and sharing the most awesome content on the web.

What you will be doing

1. Understanding the UNILAD Gaming audience to create and tailor specific content to the audience.

2. Keeping up-to-date with the latest

3. Search for relevant videos that would appeal to the UNILAD Gaming audience.

4. Contact PR companies about potential collaboration.

5. Schedule content to the UNILAD Gaming Facebook page & Instagram.

6. Build relationships with potential talent.

7. Compose trending articles and original features to be published on the UNILAD website, as well as on the UNILAD Gaming Facebook page.

What we need for this role

● Strong written English skills.

● Excellent communication skills.

● A knowledge and passion for Gaming.

● Hardworking and enthusiastic.

● Excellent time management.

● A keen editorial eye and ability to judge appropriate content in line with UNILAD’s image.

● Ability to write quickly and concisely, and find clever, funny, and unique angles on them.

● Fluency with images, GIFs, video and other forms of multimedia.

● Photoshop experience.

● Preferred: Experience managing a ‘non-personal’ social media platform.

● Preferred: Media or Social Media background.

● Relevant degree desired but not essential.
