The role

Video Editors help us shape video content into sharable and relatable video content. Sometimes this is through a simple edit, ready to share with UNILAD Gaming and the UNILAD Instagram audience of millions. Sometimes we need to film sketches, documentaries or interviews from scratch. Working to tight deadlines of hours instead of days is essential to beat the competition and keep UNILAD the most engaged and watched page in the world.

What you will be doing

The role has two main facets Research and Video Editing, ensuring all shots are licensed and cleared for use.

  1. Editing videos for UNILAD Gaming
  2. Negotiating fees when necessary
  3. Sticking to agreed budgets
  4. Adapting videos to make them shareable and relatable for social audiences, especially on mobile
  5. Adhering to UNILAD’s house style and templates
  6. Editing videos to tight deadlines
  7. Subtitling videos
  8. Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
  9. Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
  10. Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
  11. Filling in required admin and documentation in a timely and accurate manner
  12. Working to productivity and performance targets set by a line-manager

What we need for this role

  • Proficient and quick video editor in Adobe Premier Pro
  • Strong written English skills
  • Understanding of social media audiences and practices
  • Demonstrable passion and enthusiasm for creating incredible content
  • Keen work ethic and desire to keep UNILAD at the top
  • Video Editing Experience
  • Preferred: Social Media posting for a non-personal pagae
  • Relevant degree helpful but by no means essential
