Project Manager


The role:

UNILAD are recruiting for a Project Manager to manage and deliver digital partnership campaigns from start to finish.

This is a great opportunity for someone to join one of the fastest growing media companies in the world. We Ideally want a self-starter would be preferable and someone who wants to make the job their own.

This hugely varied role will involve liaising with all departments internally – sales, editorial, video, talent and social, as well as external clients – agencies and client direct. You will be working across the whole UNILAD platform which includes the website, our social channels and our social influencer network.

The right person will be highly organised and capable of managing several projects/processes at once. They will take initiative, prioritise and manage their own workload.

What you will be doing:

  • Responsibility for the project management of digital campaigns.
  • Liaise with clients and agencies from point of sale through to final delivery and campaign reporting.
  • Create production schedules and campaign timelines.
  • Work closely with internal teams as well as agencies/clients to ensure all commercial campaigns are delivered successfully.
  • Attend client and agency planning meetings when appropriate.
  • Contribute ideas on brief responses, in brainstorms and on live campaigns.
  • Scope out production costs - and manage production budgets. Keep accurate records of invoices, process payments and maintain accurate and up to date project P&Ls.

What we need for this role:

  • Previous project management experience in media is a must, preferably for a digital publisher with experience working with media agencies.
  • Experience working within video production is essential.
  • Highly organised, calm under pressure and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Solution-oriented approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
  • Enjoys the challenges that come with a PM role.
  • Experience working in a client facing role.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to think creatively and proactively.
  • A high degree of numeracy is essential as you will be required to manage campaign production budgets, process invoices and maintain accurate P&L records - ensuring campaigns are delivered on budget.
