We are searching for a talented Head of Hotels France. Reporting to the Sales Director of France, Greece, MEA & Arctic, the Head of Hotel France will take responsibility for leading a growing Sales team in a highly competitive market.
Main responsibilities
- Manages a team of 8 Contract Managers and 1 Senior Contract Manager both in London and in France (home based)
- Maximizes new business development opportunities as well as focusing on a smaller and more narrowly defined number of high-value accounts
- Provides support and inspiration to staff members, seeking to motivate, develop and improve individuals and their teams within the group
- Motivates and incentivize the team appropriately so that targets, KPIs and optimal working styles are achieved
- Continuously evaluates the sales team progress and provide coaching, training and development to maximize performance and personal growth
- Monitors/analyses sales performance and takes accountability for driving improvements in sales/revenue growth, sales productivity and sales quality (optimizing pipeline) versus our competitors
- Lead on chain hotel negotiations and represent the company at trade fairs and exhibitions
- Analyse the competition and market trends and work hand in hand with internal stakeholders to ensure Secret Escapes grows in France
Role Requirements
- Strong leadership skills and mandatory experience of managing a sales team
- Proven track record of successfully increase sales within a business
- Comprehensive knowledge of the French Hotel market - previous flash sales experience a bonus
- Ability to involve, inspire and unite your team to win new accounts and exceed targets
- Boundless energy and commitment to your work and an entrepreneurial ‘can do’ approach to business
- Ability to thrive under pressure with tight deadlines
- Ability to work and influence decisions cross functionally
- Fluent French
- Knowledge of Salesforce is a bonus
