Shazam generates a vast amount of data from usage across the globe. We are looking for someone who is passionate about information, and learning about people through data. This person should be analytical in nature, and be able to utilize all the data sources we leverage to help drive informed business decisions for Shazam. The way we work with our partners is a key part of our business, so advertising analysis will be a major focus for this role.
We work hard to tell a logical story through creative visualizations and focused insights. This helps sell our product and highlight its value to all our current and prospective clients. Your role will be critical in providing actionable and informed materials for our Sales, Marketing, and Press teams around the world.
As part of the Research team, project focuses will vary in topic and goals, but all aim at enhancing Shazam’s revenue generation and overall consumer product. This role will have opportunities for high level exposure within the Sales and Product organization, and the work generated will help shape strategic decisions for the business.
The role is based in New York City and reports into our Senior Director, Research with daily involvement with the wider Research team, the entire Sales Organization, and the Product team.
