Business Development Manager - NYC at Staffy in New York, United States

Staffy is looking for a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for locating, developing, connecting and managing relationships with potential restaurants, catering companies and the like in the Manhattan and Brooklyn areas. ​What you’ll do

  • Locate and propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners, discovering and exploring opportunities
  • Analyze market strategies, deal requirements, potentials and financials for potential business deals
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations
  • Communicate and navigate our product, features and system with ease
  • Develop an intimate knowledge of your markets to develop and implement strategic tactics to ensure increased success
  • Own partner relationship from end to end

​Who you are

  • You have strong Hospitality Industry connections and experience
  • Experience with Salesforce is an asset
  • Excellent understanding of growing and sustaining business in a highly competitive and changing marketplace
  • Passionate about the hospitality industry and tech savvy
  • Quick learner and fearless about proposing new ideas and strategies
  • Self-starter who is target-driven and motivated, who thrives on working autonomously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ideal candidate will be resourceful, independent, outgoing, articulate and creative
  • Business Degree or MBA preferred, but not required

The candidate will be required to use his/her own laptop and smartphone. Starting rate is commensurate with experience and commission based, with plenty of room for growth.
