Account Executive (Business development/ Sales) at StartEngine in Los Angeles, United States

The Account Executive is an exciting new role with one of Silicon Beach's most prominent brands. The right candidate will work with other young, innovative companies to help them understand the potential of raising capital on StartEngine. Every day he/she will speak to budding entrepreneurs who are interested in raising capital, and help to convert them into StartEngine clients. The Account Executive will help companies understand what makes StartEngine the most unique and successful fundraising platform in our industry. The Account Executive will be responsible for delivering a high volume of sales metrics, and will be critical to the success of the broader Sales division.


Responsibilities

  • Convert leads to StartEngine clients
  • Utilize tactics to target high potential leads
  • Leverage connections to access high-potential leads
  • Develop and execute strategy to increase existing business and capture new opportunities
  • Ensure that messages are supportive of and consistent with company's mission statement
  • Track and publish weekly reports using quantitative results.
General Standards
  • BA/BS degree.
  • Experience in sales and business development.
  • Proven track record of delivering results.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, team-driven, and high energy environment
  • Results oriented with the ability to meet/exceed department metrics/measures
  • Level headed problem solver with a professional service oriented attitude.
  • Adaptable, dependable and responsible.
  • Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written.
