Event Production Spring Intern - NYC at TechDay HQ in New York, United States

We're seeking a motivated individual to work part-time to help with various event planning responsibilities. This is an opportunity to gain experience in the back-of-house production and sales processes of a major technology event. The ideal candidate will have a college degree or be pursuing a degree.

Exposure to the startup community in New York, LA, or London and any sales or event planning experience is helpful for this position but not required. This internship is paid hourly at $10 per hour. There will be an opportunity to transition into a full time role at the end of the internship.

​Responsibilities will include:

  • Generating and organizing leads for email outreach
  • Creation of event timelines
  • Generating standard reports / analyzing statistics
  • Management of exhibitors and prospective exhibitors
  • Logistics and vendor pricing research
  • Vendor relations
  • Answering of phone calls
