Your Role

Trustpilot is looking for a Sales Engineer to join the Partner Team who is detail-oriented, analytical and a fast learner. This individual will be a trusted advisor to our existing and prospective partner ecosystem, assisting them in getting as much value out of our solutions as possible. As a Sales Engineer, you should be a strong ally to partner managers and partner teams in every situation, using both your technical and business skills to operate as efficiently as possible.

As a Sales Engineer, you will own the technical relationship in all pre-sales, implementation and troubleshooting of partner integrations that leverage our API. You must be able to collect business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, configure and effectively demonstrate the solutions that address these requirements, and provide business values.

More about your role:

  • Provide product and best practice training, as well as technical support to our new partners / customers and ensure that their account is setup to maximize the value of our solution.
  • Pre and post-sales support for partners/partner prospects/enterprise customers looking to integrate to Trustpilot
  • Scope out technical requirements, help & support using our API, working closely with our product team
  • Keep partners up-to-date with platform and technical knowledge and competitive differentiators.
  • Work with partner technical representatives in relation to opportunities and projects, complementing their skills and guaranteeing high-quality deliverables.
  • Advise on integration strategies required to successfully implement a complete solution, providing “best practice” advice
  • Act as a technical advocate within Trustpilot for our partners in order to help provide feedback from the field.
  • Travel as required to visit partners across a defined geographic territory

Your Profile

  • 5-7 years experience serving in the capacity of a technical sales engineer in a SaaS environment, or equivalent experience in a customer and/or partner-facing role
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • A command of HTML/CSS. API knowledge a plus
  • A basic understanding of e-commerce and digital-marketing
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to independently stay organized under a large workload
  • Strong time management skills
  • Proactive and seeks opportunities to learn and improve existing processes
  • Thrive in a performance-oriented environment
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time is required.
